Florida Culinary Community Colleges

sweet potato pie Florida culinary community colleges have some of the lowest tuition rates for a culinary education as they are non-profit and are usually funded by local taxes. Community colleges, however, have the best tuition rates for residents of the state. The low tuitions are designed for the local community but their good value is also appealing for out-of-state and international students.

Transfer programs are one of the best features of community colleges. You can continue your education if you wish at a 4-year college or university if there is a transfer program. You need to coordinate your classes with a counselor to do this. Community colleges are more focused on learning a trade or profession and teaching the technical skills of that profession. You are then awarded a certificate or associate degree.
