Illinois Culinary Colleges in DuPage, Illinois--25 miles west of Chicago. There is a new Culinary and Hospitality Center. The college prepares you to become a chef or start your own restaurant. Offers the following Culinary and Hospitality Management programs:
  • A.A.S. in Culinary Arts
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts
  • A.A.S. Degree in Food Service Administration
  • Degree in Hospitality Management
  • Certificates in Hospitality Operations, Hospitality Foundations, Hospitality Sales and Marketing, and Resort Management.
  • Degree or Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts

French or Italian culinary trips are an option.

  • Full daytime schedule.
  • No on-campus housing but there is a bulletin board listing of housing.

Illinois Culinary Colleges: Joliet Junior College

High School students can attend a "Chef for a Day Program" and find out what it is like to be in the culinary program.

Degrees and certificate programs in a comprehensive Culinary Arts program and Hospitality Management of 72/66 semester hours.

There is a study abroad program.

There is an advanced professional cooking course.

The international cuisines course looks interesting, covering world cuisines and fine dining and gourmet cooking.

For entry level chef or restaurant management positions, food service managers, assistant catering managers, hotel management (depends on program). Culinary Arts and Food Management Programs which require 3 semesters for completion:
