Inland Northwest Culinary Academy At Spokane Community College

A.A.S. Degree in Culinary Arts - 2 yr quarterly program

There is also a Hospitality program and Professional Baking program.

SCC believes you should be a member of ACF to advance your career to the next step and so prepares you for cook certification.

Orlando's is a student-run restaurant that is an integral part of the Culinary Arts program.

  • ATA Degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts Specialty

There are also Certificate programs in International Cuisine Experience, Lead Cook Specialization, and Prep Cook.

There is a 6-week unpaid culinary internship.

Travel programs to experience different cuisines.

Seattle Culinary Academy At Seattle Central Community College

Culinary Programs:

  • Certificate in Culinary Arts
  • Certificate in Specialty Desserts and Breads

The students prepare food for 2 restaurants and a bakery with goods from the Specialty Desserts and Breads program. It is exciting to find restaurants that emphasize fresh local and seasonal produce. Also featured are local seafoods which are plentiful in this area.

Recreational cooking classes are being planned for the future.

They have an extensive housing list but they do not endorse any of them. You would contact housing on the list directly.

Culinary students work in the Clipper Cafeteria or the fine dining restaurant. The core of the program takes place in the college's kitchen and dining rooms. Low student-to-faculty ratio. Learn more than 300 kitchen skills. 


Learn to prepare a variety of international and national cuisines.

A Thurston County Food Handler's Permit is required before entry.
