Baking & Pastry - Associate of Science: become a pastry artist in this program which offers courses on baking and operations management

Culinary Arts - Associate of Science: learn the basics first, then focus on specialty areas like baking and pastry, garde manger, and a la carte.

Art of Cooking - Diploma: learn cooking skills, baking and pastry, and American regional cuisine with an emphasis on plating and presentation

The Restaurant School - Walnut Hill College

The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia offers the distinctive features of a week-long, tuition-paid gastronomic Tour of France.

The Culinary Arts program is hands-on and prepares students to launch careers in the hospitality field. Students are immersed in the techniques of master chefs and take part in challenging internships.

Students begin with basic techniques and progress to the latest culinary techniques.

Walnut Hill also offers a Pastry Arts degree. Students study a combination of pastry and culinary arts courses. Courses include American and European desserts such as cakes, cookies, petit fours, sorbets/ice cream, breads, and more.

JNA Institute of Culinary Arts in Philadelphia is a private 2 year culinary school. JNA prepares you for entry-level cook positions. JNA has two tracks: 60-week program teaching culinary technique and cooking styles; 30-week Professional Cooking track that gives you a practical, hands-on foundation of food preparation.

JNA's student operated restaurant opens for dinner at 4:30pm with last seating at 8:00pm.
